British Music Radio Station In Malaga Turns Into A Life Line To People In Marbella And Nerja
Coastline FM broadcasts local, countrywide and worldwide news. It is the oldest music radio station in Malaga Province yet is very much up-to-the-minute with all recent and up coming events. Its lively mixture of music, fun items and presenters is loved by English expats living in the area.

Coastline FM recently reported the up-coming charity event, The Millionaires' White Summer Party. The organisers will be showcasing an Evening from Las Vegas Live, as they are combining this glitzy event with a fundraising effort for the Red Cross Japan Tsunami Appeal. They have been calling for aid from the local Marbella community and people beyond.
The organizers have joined forces with The Rotary Club of Marbella to be sure every penny raised will go straight to the Red Cross in Japan who have been helping those in need on the ground. A 48 year old Dutch woman visiting Nerja with her husband and children all of a sudden went missing after only a couple of days in the area. The music radio station in Malaga broadcast that she was believed to have been organizing a taxi trip to nearby Frigiliana. However she failed to take the journey and mysteriously disappeared.
Fortunately, on air and through their web site, Coastline FM reported that she was found alive and well. Although it took more than ten days to locate her, the efforts of listeners to the station played their part with what ended up to be a happy ending.
