- Who could I ask? Only after doing all you can and studying all you can will you want to turn to asking. Don't ask first. If you always ask first, you won't grow as a problem solver. You'll remain dependent.
Remember, if you inquire first or second, you may stay a little problem solver and your income, the respect of your downline, and the professionalism and trust of your people may suffer.
How to help others to solve their problems
You may want to help individuals solve problems by using the three following questions:
- What can you do about what's already happened? The reply may be "nothing."
- Are you determined to be part of the problem or part of the solution? This will define your attitude toward helping them address the problem in a professional style. Their answer will always be, "Part of the solution."
- Do you understand that there is no perfect solution to anything? They will likely agree.
